Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Internal Audit, the Auditing Intern will plan and execute internal audits of various university departments. Duties include planning the audit, preparing the risk assessment, sampling and testing transactions, conducting interviews, reviewing internal controls, performing analytical reviews, and writing reports.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a current UVU Student and must be registered in the Accounting, Finance, Business Management, MBA or related program.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Student should have strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills (Visual Basic experience preferred.) Student should be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Student must be able to effectively write formal reports.
  • Student should be able to organize and manage his/her own working papers and schedule. Student must have the ability to work in a professional environment. Student must be able to conduct interviews and communicate with both faculty and staff.

Pay Range:

$11.00-$13.50 / Hour
