Job Description:
The School of Science and Engineering at the American University in Cairo, the Department of Construction Engineering is seeking one faculty member for appointment beginning Fall 2020 in the Construction Engineering Program.
The successful candidate will be involved in teaching and research in the field of Infrastructure Engineering. He/she is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in the areas of design and construction technology of infrastructure projects, including roadways, tunnels and, airport fields. He/she is expected to teach graduate level courses in the areas of advanced design and construction technology of infrastructure projects.

Requirements:
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Civil or Construction Engineering. He/she should have a demonstrated track record of teaching and research in the areas of infrastructure projects. Established record in attracting funded research is highly desirable. He/she should have solid record of professional practical experience in relevant areas. A professional Engineer (PE) status in North America or equivalent is preferred.
