Tasks
• Follow up on the progress and needed maintenance of the ongoing project by conducting site visits as needed (Monitoring and evaluation, reporting, etc.)
• Lead on data processing and presentation (in collaboration with the site supervisors), for the final consolidated project findings to the local community and other project partners.
• Logistics, procurement and Budget management of current and future projects
• Act as liaison between AUB/NCC team, local community and other project partners
• Be actively involved in the preparation of new project proposals and provide technical knowledge ensuring proposals practicality and viability
• Conduct field visits to scout for new project sites for potential new projects
Qualifications
• Master degree in Agriculture or Landscape Design with emphasis on sustainable agriculture practices• Good technical knowledge relating to climate smart orchard and other sustainable agriculture practices
• Previous experience managing community lead projects
• Experience in capacity building and workshop establishment
• Strong field experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated to work and able to work in a dynamic environment
• Creative and able to conceive and operate tasks of multidisciplinary nature
• Team player
• Independent
• Ability to drive to different locations in Lebanon
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Good IT skills
• At least 4 years of professional experience dealing with local authorities, facilitating workshops, etc.
