Summary:
Utah Valley University is seeking a Call Center
Specialist to serve as front line support and represent the university in a
professional manner. This position provides assistance to students, faculty,
staff, and the general public through telephone, live chat, email, and in
person.
Required Qualifications:
This position is a career ladder. The position will
be placed at one of these levels depending on qualifications.
- Grade 8 (level I): Graduation from
a standard senior high school or equivalent, and work experience totaling
1 year, related to the essential functions/duties of the position.
- Grade 10 (level II): Graduation
from a standard senior high school or equivalent, and work experience
totaling 2 years, related to the essential functions/duties of the
position.
- Grade 12 (level III): Graduation
from a standard senior high school or equivalent, and work experience
totaling 3 years, related to the essential functions/duties of the
position. Also required to have a current industry recognized
certification applicable to the essential functions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of various computer
applications such as Office, internet browsers, email systems, etc.
- Skills working in a customer
service, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
- Ability to work with a diversity of
personalities and backgrounds.
- Ability to clearly communicate
verbally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task and to handle
conflict management and proactively problem-solve.
- Ability to anticipate student
needs.
Pay Range:
$12.25 to $16.26 per hour, DOQ
