The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabancı University, Istanbul, Turkey invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the area of Quantum Technologies: Quantum Communication, Quantum Simulators, Quantum Sensors and Quantum Computers. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Ph.D. in a closely related field and have a strong experimental research background demonstrated by a publication record in relevant high quality journals. We welcome applications from candidates at all ranks. For candidates at the Assistant Professor level, post-doctoral research experience is required. The faculty member will be expected to establish and execute an independent research program at Sabancı University, as well as attract external funding at both national and international levels. The new faculty member will have an interdisciplinary affiliation the FENS programs and will be encouraged to conduct collaborative research with other programs in FENS as well. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to benefit from the state-of-the-art infrastructure of the Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM). 

The responsibilities of the new faculty member include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses, supervision and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students as well as service on committees.
