- Offer valued support to Project Managers and be exposed to exciting new build and capital improvement projects of varying scope and size, across several industry sectors.
- Take ownership for performing schedule updates, maintaining project controls, developing progress reports and preparing tender and contract documents
- Attend and contribute to project meetings, capture accurate action items, and key decisions in meeting minutes
- Provide a communication path between the Project Manager and other project stakeholders
- Ensure that project activities are conducted in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System
QualificationsWhat you’ll need to be successful:- A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management or project management.
- 3-5 years of experience representing owners on design or construction building projects of varying size and scope
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience woking on healthcare, education and/or other institutional projects.
- Previous exposure to consultant and design management, construction contract administration or project financials
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivation, initiative and an eagerness to learn and contribute to meeting project deliverables
- A results oriented approach with the ability to take action and responsibility
- Exceptional detail orientation, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines and client expectations
