Reports to: Operations Manager, Center for Applied Research on the Environment and Sustainability
Purpose:
The job holder is responsible for assisting the center in carrying out all the administrative clerical services pertaining to the center internally and externally. He/she will be following up on a wide range of activities and performing a range of operational support activities including correspondence, events, maintenance and filing system.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the center2. Compiles and maintains center records and activities
3. Copies data and compiles records and reports
4. Prepares center inventory, report on a regular basis the level of inventory and recommend purchases
5. Assists in organizing center events prepares meeting rooms and arrange documents required to be presented in meetings
5. Responsible for photocopying of documents, scanning, shredding confidential/unwanted documents
7. Sending and receiving outgoing and incoming mail and deliver them to the responsible offices
8. Performing purchases as requested/needed
9. Ensures regular maintenance of center equipmentRuns center related errands
10. Assists on days of events
11. Participates and performs any other related duties and projects as assigned by management
Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement(s): High school or intermediate diploma as a minimum requirement.
Experience: Minimum of five years of experience.
Skills:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work with others and work to maintain cordial relations
- High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
- Communication skills and problem-solving skills and ability to perform under stress
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Internet
