Automation Engineer

As an automation engineer you will work with serialisation where you need to support tech ops on several levels. Within this you will need to manage configurations and optimise systems within the main systems of packaging lines, and attach it to serialisation. Furthermore, the functionality and performance should be organised for site wide shop floor related computer systems in such a way that the business areas are supported effectively and efficiently. The GMP computer systems should be validated within relevant guidelines and procedures.

PRIMARY TASKS OF THE ROLE:
* Configuration management: Identify, control and ensure trace ability of computer system components (hardware, software and documentation) and prepare, qualify and implement changes to these components in a controlled way, in line with change control procedures.
* Compliance: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on cGMP regulations. Assure that systems are in a permanent validated state and support internal and external system audits.
* User support & SOP's: Advice, support and train computer system users within the business areas to ensure computer systems functionality is being used effectively and efficiently. Ensure availability and accuracy of all required computer systems procedures, including configuration management, periodic review, system administration and system use SOP's.
* Maintenance/troubleshooting: Ensure optimal availability of computer systems, coordination of maintenance and troubleshooting activities, in cooperation with technical support parties and in line with relevant procedures.
* Projects & Vendors. Contribute to and support industrial automation projects. Coordinate the efforts of external vendors in automation projects and ongoing support.

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE OF YOU?
* MBO level in industrial automation and/or technical discipline.
* 3 years of experience with industrial automation systems and experienced in contributing to projects.
* Knowledge of regulated environments, MMD production and shop floor systems is preferred.
