Job Description:
The Department of the Arts at the American University in Cairo (AUC) is seeking to recruit adjunct faculty members in Visual Arts. Candidates are being sought who have the experience and expertise necessary to teach both introductory and advanced courses in painting, sculpture and installation, photography, digital art, contemporary art theory, contemporary Arab art, and comic strip composition.
Requirements:
Commitment to teaching and engagement of students, as well as service to the program and the department are necessary. An active research and practice agenda is recommended. A terminal degree is preferred, but candidates with a masters degree and/or significant experience in the field will also be considered.
