The Project Engineer is responsible for all routine on-site project administration, scheduling and engineering. Plans, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering activities and schedules and communicates with subcontractors. Prepares monthly pay estimates and updates the Project CPM schedule. Prepares, coordinates and updates job budgets, change orders and cost reports for Project and District Manager’s review and approval. Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:
Review pay subcontractor pay estimates prior to management’s approvalReview the owner’s pay estimate prior to management’s approvalSupervise cost report management and lead regular review meetingsSupervise project CPM management and lead regular review meetingsManage project document control systemOther duties as directed by the Project ManagerJob Requirements- BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or AS with appropriate job experience
- Must have prior structural concrete project or Heavy Highway experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structural concrete construction
- JDEdwards experience is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Profiency in Primavera P6 scheduling preferred
- Proficiency with BIM software preferred
