The Role –Are you a qualified accountant with fluent German language skills and a desire to work in luxury retail? Our client is looking for a strong technical accountant to join the team in central London. This is a great opportunity to work for well recognised international brand.
The role will involve:
- Preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting in US GAAP to monthly deadlines across 3 legal entities
- Plan vs. trend analysis and results review to ensure the accounts are accurate
- Preparation of all monthly balance sheet reconciliations and that all aged items are resolved in a timely manner
- Completion of quarterly Sarbanes Oxley requirements and reporting of results to the US
- Preparation of bank reconciliations and timely submission of VAT returns
- Preparation and submission of all statutory reporting and filings.
- Liaise with auditors and tax accountants to ensure clean audit report and no issues with tax reporting. Managing the audit process.
The Candidate-The role will suit a fully qualified ACA/ACCA candidate with strong IFRS and knowledge if USGAAP ideally gained within the retail sector, with fluent/native German language skills, excellent planning and organisational skills and attention to details.
