Pure Technologies is a world leader in the development and application of innovative technologies for inspection, monitoring and management of physical infrastructure. From monitoring the health of large bridges to protecting pipelines, our technologies and expertise are being used around the world to help manage deterioration and reduce loss. At Pure, our people are the key to our success. We take pride in recruiting the best talent available for all areas of our business.

The continuous acoustic monitoring SoundPrint® technology is a patented method of using acoustic sensors, combined with proprietary analytical software, to identify and locate tensioned wire failures. Structures are monitored using a distribution of discreet piezoelectric sensors adhered to the exterior, these structures range from parking garages and office towers to long span suspension bridges. To monitor PCCP pipelines, an advanced Acoustic Fiber Optic (AFO) monitoring system has been developed for monitoring lengths up to 40km long from a single acquisition system, using a standard fiber optic cable as a continuous underwater microphone. To date, Pure has identified tens of thousands of wire failures and, as a result of this actionable data, clients have been enabled to make cost-effective decisions with respect to repair and replacement schedules. Our engineers and physicists maintain the monitoring systems, analyze the data and provide owners with continuous on-line updates on the condition of their infrastructure.
