The Department of Process
Engineering (PE) at the International Maritime College Oman (IMCO) invites
applications for teaching position(s) from September 2017.
The PE Department currently has the need for
Teacher/Lecturer(s) in:
1. Chemical, Process and Environmental
Engineering or related backgrounds with the teaching & research experiences
in the following broad areas:
- Advanced Materials and
Nanotechnology
- Biotechnology
- Computation and
Molecular Modeling
- Energy Conversion and
Storage
- Wastewater Treatment
- Membrane Technology
- Oil processing
technology
2. Electrical/instrumentation Engineering or related background with the teaching & research experiences in the following broad areas:
- Renewable resources
- Energy control and
efficiency improvement
- Power quality and
economics
Candidates interested in such position should have at least a master's degree, with a Ph.D. degree preferred. Also, minimum three (3) years of substantial teaching experience is mandatory with the preference of industrial experience in the related field.
