Scope of Job:
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire Part-Time Lecturers to teach in its Bachelor’s program. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the program. The part-time lecturers teach lower division astronomy, physics, and physical science courses, including fully online and hybrid and laboratory courses. (Please note that this is a Summer Position only).
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Physics/Astronomy or a related field of study from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualification:
Five years teaching experience is desirable as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
