The Project Manager is an integral role in the organization that directly influences a client’s success. The role will have primary responsibility for managing complex client projects that can include new implementations, platform migrations, professional services, and other efforts requiring strong project management skills. The Project Manager ensures clients are ready to go live by working directly with client contacts and third party partners as well as the assigned Client Success Manager. The Project Manager must utilize Virgin Pulse’s standard implementation methodology, processes, and tools.Job DutiesProject manages the implementation of new Virgin Pulse customers and serves as an expert on all operational aspects of all Virgin Pulse programs and solutions.Project manages platform migrations and Professional Services customizations and implementationsMaintains overall project ownership and drives the coordination of activities and deliverables among all internal Virgin Pulse departmentsDelivers the highest level of client satisfaction to ensure a successful Pulse implementation.Manages the operational and tactical activities of supporting any 3rd party integrationsIdentify new steps and implement new procedures as part of product updates as necessaryResponds to and resolves client requests and questions during the implementation processSolicits client feedback and works with Product Development to implement enhancements and fixes.Employs Virgin Pulse’s standard project methodology, processes, and proceduresResponds to and resolves client requests and questions during the implementation processParticipates in pre-sales activities to drive new business including RFP completion, prospect sales calls, and in-person finalist meetingsProvides supplemental operational and tactical support to the Services team when bandwidth allowsPerforms special projects as requested.Required Education, Training, Knowledge And ExperienceBachelor's degree, or equivalent, in related discipline1 – 3 years of directly related project management work experience working on complex projects with large corporate clientsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Experience working with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Teamwork, etc)Core Skills, Competencies, And CharacteristicsStrong project management skillsAbility to build relationships to work effectively with and through othersExcellent customer facing skillsAbility to prioritize deliverables and negotiate with clients and internal partiesExcellent interpersonal and writing skills.Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.Required to work cross-functionally within the organization and with external partners.Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.Work EnvironmentWill travel to customer sites approximately 10-15% of the time or 2-3 days per month.
