Position: Manager, MarketingReports to: Commercial President
Location: Miami, Florida
Position Summary
This newly created position will stand up a commercially oriented, marketing function in support of growth acceleration across verticals and markets. The Manager will strategically steer the organization's priorities, execute and focus on positioning a distinctive brand in the marketplace and driving short and long-term revenue growth.
Principal Accountabilities
Branding, Communications & PR
- Branding/Develop the MSH brand identity & story through all existing channels while identifying necessary channels and plans of action.
- Marketing Communications/Create, design and write content, collateral , and proposals.
- Digital/Evaluate, oversee and manage the maintenance of on-line presence, including social media platforms and a planned website redesign.
- Public Relations/Develop and manage external communications and public relations including media, case studies, and newsletters.
- Assists with talking points, scripts, and other strategic communications.
Business Development & Marketing Planning
- Design, implement and facilitate annual business development and marketing plan.
- Collaborate with Client Services & Solutions teams in creating prospect acquisition and client retention/expansion plans.
Market Intelligence/Analytics & Data
- Create market share barometer within markets & verticals.
- Utilize competitive intelligence to incorporate into account & vertical plans.
- Produce insights and action-oriented plans through database management.
- Stay abreast of market trends to drive topics for client events, webinar and whitepaper strategies.
Campaigns & Demand Generation
- Develop targeted B2B demand generation campaigns including e-mail, events, tradeshows, etc.
- Analyze performance that leverage behavioral interest profiling to drive new client acquisition and sales revenue.
Events
- Create, coordinate and manage events across Industries, Functions & Geographic areas.
- Identify key events, affiliations, and sponsorships that will promote our brand and create opportunities for growth.
Experience
- 5+ years of marketing experience creating a high-performance, commercially oriented function focused on growth of a dynamic services and solutions business.
- Strong written skills including proofreading and editing experience.
- Experience telling stories creating visuals, graphics within presentations using MS Powerpoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, KeyNote or any other tool.
- Able to excel in a fast paced work environment without direct daily supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal positively with both internal and external customers.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with players across the organization.
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Photoshop a plus.
Education
- Bachelors’ degree from accredited University
- MBA preferred
