Department Summary
The Department of Mathematics has 24 tenure system faculty, 11 lecturers, about 55 graduate students, and 220 majors. Our graduate degree offerings include a Ph.D. in Mathematics as well as M.A. and M.S. degrees. Undergraduate offerings include B.A. and B.S. degrees in Mathematics, with or without teacher certification. Additional information about the department is available at math.unt.edu.
Position Summary

Teach 2 or 3 courses per year
- Conduct research with assigned faculty mentor and publish results
- Present research results and progress at workshops and conferences
- Participate in departmental seminars and activities
