Job Description:
The Center for Communications and IT Research atKFUPM is seeking to fill research position with potential candidates showing ability and desire for excellence in Internet of Thingsresearch and applications.
Job Responsibility:
• Excellent knowledge of the
components of Integrated Operations technical architecture
• Understanding
business needs and translating them into technical, or technology requirements
• Knowledge of
Information and Automation Solutions
• Ability to
develop functional specifications for integrated operations (process design,
data flows, application triggers, middleware requirements, adapter
requirements, datadictionaries, etc.)
• Appreciation of
or ability to acquire working knowledge of the technologies includingNetworking, Communications and Cybersecurity,
Connected Services (data diodes, 3G/4G etc), WiFi networks and Wireless field
networks, Cloud Architecture
• Middleware/
de-coupled IT/OT architecture
• Workflow
implementation + Mobility Tools

Qualifications:
• Ph. D. degree in
Engineering Discipline or equivalent
• 3-5 years of
experience in IIoT/IoT or related field
• Industry
operations experience preferred
• Excellent
analytical, technical, presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills,
(including teamwork, facilitation, and
negotiation)
• Ability to
understand the long term, big picture and short-term perspectives of situations
(Vision Creation)
• Previous
leadership experience in handling project is a plus
