Summary:

Assists in designing and creating printed materials for various uses internally and externally to the Center and University. Assists in designing and producing professional layouts for print and digital publications and the Center for Constitutional Studies website.

· Assists in designing, producing and creating printed Center promotional materials. Collaborates with the creative services design team in University Marketing and Institutional Advancement Communications to develop and produce creative ideas.

· Assists in designing, producing and creating digital and web visual content.

· Provides photography services as needed

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a current UVU Student

*Graphic Design or Art & Design major OR at least two years of experience in graphic design.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process.

· Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.

· Knowledge of digital publishing applications included in Adobe Creative Cloud.

· Knowledge of web design applications, including UX/UI.

· Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator on a Mac platform.

· Skill in interpersonal communication, problem-solving and decision-making.

· Ability to prepare quality printed and digital promotional/communication materials.

· Ability to produce professional illustrations using various mediums.

· Ability to use a digital camera.

· Ability to develop, maintain, and archive files and records.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
