ComResource is looking for the next Business Analyst.

We need someone who can gather and document business requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the course of projects and facilitating their discussion, confirmation, and approval. You will have to conduct thorough business process analysis to understand and document current business processes, workflows, and systems; create and document high-level and detailed requirements for new processes, develop use cases, and manage requirement changes. You will have to have relationships with multiple levels of the business, correctly prioritizing work across multiple projects and timelines. You are a proactive person, able to identify multiple approaches to problem solve and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Apply advanced knowledge and understanding of business analysis concepts, principles, and techniques to gather, document and manage business requirements for large, complex and visible projects.

  2. Manage requirement changes, ensuring traceability and auditability.

  3. Focus on business process changes, improvements, and requirements in the course of IT projects, ensuring that processes and procedures are considered in addition to technical requirements.

  4. Create and maintain current and future-state functional models, business process flows, and wire-frame diagrams.

  5. Collaborate with Quality Control, Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Business Subject Matter Experts to ensure Business acceptance.

  6. Develop use cases as a key communication tool between the business and technical teams.

  7. Contribute to the creation of test scenarios, scripts, and data.

  8. Interact with Project Managers from multiple organizations to track project progress, identify risks, communicate risks and status, and assess potential impacts to the business.

  9. Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in business analysis, remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices; leverages expertise to produce solutions that enable global consistency and standardization and facilitate exceptional performance.

  10. Understand supported, integrated applications and use that knowledge to ensure project scope is complete.

  11. Consult as needed with Enterprise Architecture, Risk and Security and other Shared Service teams to ensure standards are met, systems are secure and proper control requirements are included for all projects.

  12. Participate in the audit and validation of systems as needed.

  13. Maintain project documentation such as project lists, project status reports and budget for small initiatives.

Essentials:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science, Business or related discipline required.

  2. More than 7 years related experience required.

  3. Experience with ERP Software experience preferred (Distribution, Warehouse, Back-office and/or Transportation modules)

  4. Experience in healthcare supply or pharmaceutical distribution supply chain industry.

  5. Excellent understanding of project process, from initiation through close, and the responsibilities of the business analyst in the process.

  6. Self-starter with excellent documentation skills, including the ability to maintain documentation and requirements for traceability throughout the project, and for evaluation after the close.

  7. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to identify problems, gather facts, analyze potential risks and impacts, and choose or propose a solution.

  8. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

  9. Demonstrates strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to solicit and interpret customer business needs, model business functions, and translate them into the application and operational requirements.

  10. Strong collaboration, multi-tasking, time management and organization skills.

  11. Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to ask probing questions, lead cross-functional meetings and provide clear status reports to both technical and non-technical team members and executives.

  12. An aptitude to learn, as they must develop a thorough understanding of supported business processes.

  13. Strong attention to detail.

  14. Proven ability to estimate effort and duration of tasks.

  15. Strong leadership and coaching skills, able to develop and mentor more junior Business Analysts.

  16. Works independently, prioritizing work and proactively communicating status.

  17. Speak English fluently and clearly.

  18. Proficient skills in Microsoft standard desktop applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, Visio, and Project.

  19. Ability to travel up to 25%.
