Our client, a residential healthcare facility, is currently seeking an IT Operations Manager for an exciting opportunity with their team! The IT Operations Manager is responsible for managing existing operations and implementing new operations processes within the organization, managing expectations and results across all stakeholder groups, day-to-day management of IT organization process, including MSP vendor management, internal and virtual help desk, ticket, board, and escalations, monthly metrics and SLA’s.

Job Duties

  • Manage operations team of help desk, networking, and telecom resources
  • Lead operations team to research and identify root cause of systems issues and document resolutions. In conjunction with MSP and Network Administrator, conduct RCA for events.
  • Oversee and coordinate Move, Add, Change, and Delete operations for infrastructure, desktop equipment, and end users accounts.
  • Work with application team to coordinate updates to production applications
  • Work with Network Administrator and CIO to ensure IT Security posture, compliance with HIPAA policies and SOP’s in infrastructure operations
  • Own and managed and coordinate with MSP all asset management and DR plans and processes for all IT systems
  • Establish IT Operations KPI’s and manage performance goals
  • Provides updates, status and completion information to supervisor, problem request tracking system and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail, in person communication.
  • Oversees a current and accurate inventory of all computer equipment, software library and manuals.
  • Benchmarks, analyzes, reports on, and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
  • Travels to off sites as required

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience & Skills Required

  • 5 years of related IT Operations experience required.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence and instructions for users and department staff. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to users and other employees. Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
