Summery
I am looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in designing and installing systems used primarily for wood treating. This position would be working directly with the client as a third party hired to install these systems. Must be comfortable with consulting with the client on their needs, making a quote, and managing the project. Must not be afraid to get your hands dirty.
Duties
- In this position you would be responsible for implementation and design at manufacturing facilities throughout the country
- Working under a project timeline to meet customer needs
- Help prepare cost estimates on the front-end
- Finish projects within the budget and timeline restrictions
- Manage project work and manage the contractors hired to help install
- Troubleshoot Mechanical problems
- Train Customers on how to use the equipment
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years' experience
- Project Management
- Experience working with pressure vessels, hydraulics, piping, pumps and Compressors
- Machine Design preferred
- Autocad experience
- Piping Design
- PLC's
- Ability to travel 40% of the time with limited notice
