Job Description:
The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) invites applications for adjunct faculty positions at the Department of Law in the areas of international law, international economic law, human rights including human rights in regional systems, international refugees law, comparative public and private law, business law including corporate, securities and market governance. The successful applicant will teach graduate students in the LL.M. In international and Comparative Law or the MA in International Human Rights Law. In addition, and depending on departmental need, successful applicants may be asked to co-supervise graduate thesis or sit on examining committees.

Requirements:
PhD in law, appropriate academic equivalent or substantial practical experience in one of the areas listed above. PhD candidates who have nearly completed the requirements of the degree are eligible to apply. A mastery of the English language at a near native level is a threshold requirement. The departmental selection committee will positively value applicants with past experience in teaching law or social sciences at the graduate level in English.

Additional Information:
Successful applicants will be entered in a database for adjunct faculty who could be called upon to teach a maximum of two courses per semester on the basis of academic need as determined every semester by the Department of Law and budget availability as determined by the School of GAPP.
