Digital Map Products is looking for an astute and highly motivated critical thinker to join our Customer Success Team to help grow our rapidly expanding data business. Within Customer Success, our Content Solutions team works with some of the company’s largest clients to understand, advise and deliver on their parcel and location data needs. We are building a best-in-class customer service organization to ensure all of our customers view DMP as essential to their organizational success.
As a Database Analyst on the Customer Success Team, you will lay the foundation for an exceptional customer experiencing by accurately scoping and executing on data deliveries, advising on best practices to maximize clients’ data investments, and quickly escalating and resolving reported issues. You are a natural problem solver and someone who thrives in dynamic environments, with a knack for learning new concepts quickly and a drive to continually improve upon processes.
What you will do:
· Create and maintain delivery specifications for each client.
· Assess, manage and execute on delivery schedules for our data customers.
· Conduct QA/QC on data deliveries to ensure data integrity and consistency with the delivery specifications.
· Troubleshoot customer data issues.
· Collaborate with internal data and engineering team members to resolve customer issues and escalate where necessary.
· Create end-user documentation to support client deliveries and internal data delivery processes
· Serve as an in-house subject matter expert regarding customer data integrations including data maintenance and optimization as well as database content and design.
· Define and automate data delivery processes.
Who you are:
· Have a Bachelor’s degree in Geography/GIS or other technical or quantitative discipline.
· Worked 1+ years in a Microsoft SQL Server environment performing SQL queries, scripting and data analysis.
· Proficient with the ESRI ArcGIS for Desktop suite of products.
· Experienced with MS SQL Server, T-SQL.
· Practical experience with scripting and programming fundamentals, MS SQL Server relational database concepts, structure and implementation.
· A fast learner and independent thinker that can execute defined procedures and tasks with minimal supervision.
· Highly organized and accomplished at setting priorities, managing a varied and heavy workload and shifting directions quickly.
· Strong communicator (verbal and written) including the ability to actively listen and ask probing questions, empathize with customers and convey confidence.
· Familiarity with open source GIS tools, SQL stored procedures and functions, SQL Integration Services, Python scripting and ETL methods a big plus.
