We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with product development experience for medium to high volume sensors and actuators (Crank/Cam, Speed and EGR Position Sensors, Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valves, Idle Air Control Actuators, etc) to join our team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing conceptual process layouts with equipment/tooling requirements
  • Working with Design Engineer to reduce tooling, equipment and product costs
  • Establishing critical path timing plans from project approval to release to production
  • Sourcing/selecting vendors for tooling and equipment
  • Debugging equipment prior to pilot production
  • Providing gages, equipment and procedures for inspection/test of components, subassemblies and final assemblies
  • Establishing tooling/equipment specifications
  • Providing factory reps with equipment documentation
  • Training staff in operation of production equipment
  • Resolving assembly problems
  • Providing technical support to internal/external groups
  • Handling other related functions as necessary
