We are looking for a talented finance rockstar who can provide a broad range of financial guidance to App Annie, the industry's leader in app analytics and app market intelligence. You will partner with all levels of employees at App Annie by providing direction and thoughtful analysis, insights and reporting. You will help drive strategic initiatives and optimize business decisions by delivering insightful metrics, forecasts, and operational finance support. The successful candidate will possess keen strategic thinking plus analytical abilities with strong communication and project management skills; thrives in a dynamic environment.
How will you be doing this?
Business Partnering
- Working directly with department leaders and providing financial analysis, business modeling and decision support to senior executives with recommendations to solve business issues and improve the strategic, operational, and financial model of the business
- Develop and deliver budgeting and planning coupled with clear analysis to a rapidly developing organization - Identify risks or opportunities to update monthly & quarterly forecasts
- Coordination, consolidation, and reporting within Adaptive Insights financial planning tool; Variance analysis to company leaders
Corporate Finance
- Preparing budgets and forecasts, internal management reporting and dashboards, and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Designing and implementing scalable FP&A and financial processes that support the needs of a dynamic business to build efficiencies
- Preparing monthly corporate close packages and quarterly board materials and assisting in reviewing financials
- Assist in project managing new system initiatives and coordinate cross functionally to improve overall system automation as needed
Sales Compensation/Commissions
- Helping to manage sales commission process for WW sales reps
- Providing critical support to the global incentive compensation process by working cross-functionally across Sales Management, Sales Operations, Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal and Payroll
- Helping scale and streamline the incentive compensation workflow process and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payouts.
- Resolving commissions related inquiries and issues and communicating results to sales reps
What will you bring to the team?
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with limited supervision
- A well-rounded top performer, combination of analytical and communication skills, execution-oriented and attention to timelines
- Relevant industry experience with financial modeling, budgeting/planning, and decision analysis (Preferably 2-4 years of investment banking, consulting, corporate finance or accounting experience in a high tech environment)
- Ability to present complex financial analysis in a clear and compelling message
- Superior analytical and modeling skills, Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience configuring and working with Salesforce, Adaptive, Netsuite and/or Xactly Incent Express Tool
- BS/BA in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting
