Job Description:
The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University seeks a part-time faculty to teach one open section of Sociology 433- Race, Class & Gender (3 credits) Fall ’19
Course Description: This course focuses on the intersection of oppression and privilege via social constructed categories of “race”, “class”, and “gender.” Racism, sexism, institutional authority, and multiculturalism.
Qualifications:
A minimum of an MA in Sociology or a
closely related discipline.
Preference will be given to ABD and PhD level candidates from our
program and those who have taught for us previously.
Job Specific Qualifications:
Evidence of effective teaching experience is necessary
