Job Description:
The Department of the Arts at the American University in Cairo (AUC) is seeking to recruit adjunct faculty members in Film. Candidates are being sought who have the experience and expertise necessary to teach both introductory and advanced courses in history, theory and criticism, digital editing and cinematography, sound for picture production, and cinema in Egypt and the Arab world.

Requirements:
Commitment to teaching and engagement of students, as well as service to the program and the department are necessary. An active research and practice agenda is recommended. A terminal degree is preferred, but candidates with a masters degree and/or significant experience in the field will also be considered.
