Position Description: *ITI/RRS Engineer monitoring solution for Next Gen services like SQL, VMs, IIS, etc. Drive Engineering and OPS teams to develop initial Standard Compute, Day 2 dashboards - Logging, Event Management, Monitoring, etc. Ensure NG services like MS SQL, WAS, etc. have adequate tooling which includes Provisioning, Logging, Event Management, etc. Engineer monitoring tools for Next Gen releases and Ensure the services and tools are ready for automation team to automate by release schedule NGR1,R2, R3, R4. Develop the strategy which is aligned with Next Gen Engineering standards and present it to Ops and monitoring team. Make sure that engineered solution works well with existing ticketing tool BMC-Service Desk and lead testing of monitoring tool with appropriate service owner by generating ticketing, events, reports, etc. Work as SME of vROPS vRA vRO for capacity and demand management Experience Required: Overall 15+ years of experience in IT At least 10 years of experience working in Unix/Linux/Windows environments. In-depth knowledge of monitoring tool supporting ITO Understanding of the SPI-model SaaS,PaaS,IaaS Experience of web services and API communications Technical proficiency in Cloud Platforms (virtualization OS,, VMware and Cloud OS, Azure) Knowledge of DevOpsmodel and impact to DevOps CI DI Experience with APIs, orchestration, automation Strong written/oral English communication skills with ability to communicate effectively and collaborate Experience managing formal concern resolution process between stakeholders (developers, operations and vendors) Ability to work independently Experience with SDM or equivalent process and life cycle methodologies Education Required: B.S. Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
