Summary:

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Junior Level Civil or Environmental EIT or Engineer to work out of one of our PA offices within our Energy Business Unit’s Civil Engineering Group. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, and team oriented environment that will utilize their college education and related work experience to develop professionally into a well-rounded engineer with the ability to grow in today’s global environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of various permit applications (earth disturbance permits, building permits, land development plans, etc), Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans, Stormwater Management Plans, and grading plans.
  • Design of temporary and permanent Best Management Practices (channels, culverts, infiltration, detention, and/or retention structures).
  • Preparation of calculations, drawings, specifications, and quantity and cost estimates.
  • Field investigations, construction support, and domestic travel may be required.


Qualifications

1. Bachelors (B.S.) degree from an accredited college in Civil or Environmental Engineering

2. EIT or FE Certification or ability to take and pass the exam within six months

3. 0 to 4 years of civil engineering experience with title and salary adjusted as appropriate
