The School of Engineering at the American University in Dubai invites qualified applicants for the positionof Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer and/or Electrical Engineering to begin teaching in Fall2020. There are two vacancies - one in the area of electric power systems and renewable energy, and theother in the area of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or cloud computing.
The successful candidate will have:
• Undergraduate degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.• Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from a US accreditedinstitution at the time of appointment.
• A track record of teaching and research in the relevant area. Industrial experience is highlydesirable.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.

The compensation package for this position is competitive and is based on the expatriate model. Besidestax-exempt basic salary, it includes housing, annual two-way airfare, health / life insurance, professionalmemberships, conference attendance expenses, assistance with children's tuition, and other components.
