Purpose The job holder responsibilities include expanding ESS business prospects for existing and new training services as well as other industrial services (consulting, labs and equipment services). In addition, he/she will be asked to pursue strategic opportunities and create channels for collaboration with new partner institutions and companies.


Principal Accountabilities:

· Identify potential clients and pitch ESS services to new clients
· Develop links and partnerships with industry, businesses and other institutions
· Communicate with clients to determine their training and technical services’ needs
· Write, submit and negotiate bids and proposals
· Write memorandums of understanding (MOU) and contractual agreements
· Maintain a good working relationship with new and existing clients
· Collaborate with program officers and services coordinators to ensure contracted services are executed on time and as agreed
· Identify market directions and trends and proposing programs and services to satisfy market needs
· Plan and monitor ESS online presence, website and social media in collaboration with the marketing and online presence team
· Develop and implement the marketing plan for ESS in collaboration with the marketing team
· Organize and participate in workshops, seminars and open house activities in collaboration with the marketing team
· Perform any other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:University degree is required in engineering, business administration or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum of ten years of experience including at least three years in managerial position in business development, preferably in the field of extended education and industrial services

Skills:

· Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic
· Good communication, leadership and negotiation skills
· Ability to draft offers, contracts and agreements
· Ability to write reports and business correspondence
· Good time management and planning skills
· Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
