Coeur Mining Inc. is searching for a recent Mining Engineering graduate to join our Coeur Development Program!
We are the largest U.S.-based primary silver producer and a growing gold producer. We have five precious metals mines in the Americas. Coeur Alaska, is seeking a Graduate Mining Engineer for its Kensington Gold Mine, located 45 miles north of Juneau, Alaska.
You will become part of Coeur’s inaugural class in the program which focuses on offering a recent graduate a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the mining industry.
In addition to a full-time Mine Engineering role after the program, the Coeur Development Program offers:- An 18-month rotational opportunity across functions and disciplines at the Kensington operation
- The opportunity to work with both site and corporate leadership on projects including interaction with and sponsorship from the CEO
- Travel to the corporate office and another Coeur mine site for project work and leveraging best practices

Requirements For a Successful Candidate- Completed a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering
- Successful internship(s) at an operating mine, preferably an underground precious metals operation
- A desire to travel and share the Coeur story with students at select universities
- Relocation to Juneau, AK and work 4 days on, 3 days off in a camp setting
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Flexibility and willingness to take on new opportunities
