In an effort to boost the intellectual capital of the Lebanese American University (LAU) and in accordance with the directive of the university Board of Trustees and President, LAU will be hiring 100 new faculty members in the next 5 years. For the 2019-2020 academic year, LAU is inviting applications for 20 new positions for highly qualified faculty, visiting scholars, and postdoctoral (teaching-research) positions in several interdisciplinary research areas.
Applicants must have demonstrated an ability or potential and interest in conducting innovative research and teaching in a field related to at least one of the five areas: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life and health Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences, Management and Business Studies. Candidates must have a good command of English, and an earned Ph.D. degree in any field related to one of the above areas.
The university is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and is ranked among the top two universities in Lebanon by the 2019 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
