Well established firm has a new opportunity for a Project Architect. The person will be responsible for the administration of all phases of architectural project documentation through all disciplines. Responsibilities include documenting and coordinating projects of major scope and complexity and developing and managing the project schedules and budgets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide leadership and direction to the project team through all phases of project documentation, placing emphasis on departmental consistency in format, graphic quality and design intent of documents, and ensure effective supervision and training of architectural production personnel.
* Offer aesthetic evaluations to project team throughout project duration.
* Provide interdisciplinary coordination through all phases of assigned projects, emphasizing dimensional correctness, systems tolerance and clearance, design intent and buildability.
* Review plans and outline specifications in the proposal phase for material suitability, functional layout, buildability and conformance with code and ordinance requirements.
* Review plans and specifications in the working drawing phase for interdisciplinary coordination, detail content appropriateness and completeness of overall documents.
* Manage the development and field inspection follow-up of Quality Assurance Plans.
* Manage the construction phase of project development, including pre-contact product reviews, shop drawing review, field bulletin production and document revision, and serve as liaison between Project Management and Design through all phases of document revision.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related area and architectural registration.
* Minimum of five years’ experience in a directly related field with design-build (multi-family and/or senior housing) experience preferred.
* Revit proficiency required.
* Thorough knowledge of architectural practice and construction.
* Ability to handle architectural production projects of any size and complexity.
* Strong client relations focus, including excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation skills.
* Supervisory ability to schedule, prioritize and ensure completion of projects delegated to others, and to train, coordinate and counsel project teams.
