Catapult Staffing is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for one of our clients in San Antonio, TX. This position is primarily targeted at a modern Software Engineering and DevOps skillset which focuses on establishing solid build / deployment / automated test / and performance monitoring pipeline for code deployments for our Frontline platform. This award-winning platform is a very modern technology stack.
Ideal Candidates will have the following:- Experience working as a mid to senior level Software Engineer or DevOPS role working on cloud services applications.
- Extensive experience working with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
- Extensive experience working with the Linux operating system and command line tools.
- Experience working with virtualization technology such as VMWare.
- Experience working with cloud based backends such as Amazon AWS or OpenStack platforms is a plus.
- Experience working in a senior role establishing build and deployment pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins and Docker is a plus.
- Experience working with web application frameworks such as Django or Node.js is a plus.
- Experience utilizing REST-APIs to script integration and automation-testing of builds.
- The ability to mentor and train other team members in areas of expertise.
- Technical Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Cybersecurity related field.
