Summary
The Department of Biology at Barry University seeks to fill
a full-time position at the Assistant Professor rank. The position begins
August 2019 or January 2020. The Biology Department offers Bachelor of
Science degrees in General Biology, Marine Biology, and Pre-professional
Biology.

Essential Functions
- The
responsibilities include teaching primarily undergraduate anatomy and
physiology, as well as first-year and advanced biology courses (12 hours
per semester of lectures/labs), scholarly activities, and academic
advising.

projects.
- The
applicant is also expected to participate fully in department, college,
and university-wide initiatives and activities.

Qualifications/Requirements
- The
position requires a PhD in a biological science.
