What our Network Administrators do:
Work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify and isolate technical issues with systems, software, and related infrastructureResponsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructureUpdating and maintaining deployed software versions of our game across the fleets of serversConsider best security practices throughout all aspects of the infrastructure and willingness to work with the security team to deliver secure solutionsProactive system monitoring, alerting and maintenanceHardware and software performance analysis and tuningCollaborate with other IT team members and customers throughout the business on incidents, support requests, projects, and other initiativesWho we are looking for:
Experience with Windows and Linux infrastructure administrationSkilled in network fundamentals, administration and troubleshootingAbility to excel in a time sensitive, fast paced, 24/7 environmentCreate documentation and diagrams for projects and servicesAvailable to participate in rotating off hours on-call supportDesire to do what it takes to get the job done and help the team and the business succeedBachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years’ experience in Network Administration or System AdministrationPreferred candidate has:
Ongoing software version deployment experiencePerforce or other source control applicationsDatabase management and basic SQL skillsVMware, XEN, and other virtualization platformsCloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etcSALT experiencePRTG, Monitis, or other monitoring platformsCisco, HPE, or Juniper network technologies and firewallsFamiliar with ITIL practices and proceduresAny relevant certificationsStrong asset tracking skills and ability to do IT cost analysis
