Pond is currently in need of a Civil Engineer with 1-3 years of experience. This position will work in our Civil Engineering Group which serves the firm by providing engineering and planning expertise to our clients in city, state, federal and commercial projects worldwide. The types of planning, design and development services we provide include: private residential and commercial site development; infrastructure improvement and new development projects with county, state and federal government agencies; and vertical and horizontal aviation and fueling infrastructure projects serving local and military airports around the world.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree in an accredited Civil Engineering program, with 1-3 years of civil engineering design experience.Any of the following engineering experience would be beneficial: design of initial site layouts, including building placement, vehicular and pedestrian access, parking lots, etc; design of site grading plans including cut/fill calculations; design of full erosion, sedimentation, pollution control plans; design of stormwater management systems and water quality Best Management Practices; design of local streets; report writing for engineering studies; design of sanitary sewerage systems, including pump stations and force mains; and design of water mains for domestic use and fire protection.
Experience with commercial and/or municipal site development projects desired.
