Provide key internal and external sales support for the automation group to increase units sold of standard robots.

Standard robots fall into the following categories:

-Linear robots or also known as Cartesian robots. These are normally mounted on the fixed platen of an injection molding machine and are used for pick and place operations.

-Industrial robots or also known as six axis robots. This are normally mounted on the fixed platen or next to the injection molding machine on the floor. To be used for pick and place operations and added value tasks(e.g. cutting/trimming/assembly)

Duties:

-Automation contact person for clarification with customer of technical requirements for automation projects(mainly with standard robots) based on the customer needs, primarily over the phone as a technical representative, but also at customers sites in US, Canada and Mexico.

-Develop and introduce LR(linear robots) and IR(industrial robots) presentations.

-Support in programming/commissioning of automation projects, including robotics and PLC's.

-Support sales staff to explain and sell standard automation(solutions to customer using mainly standard robots).

-Quote and manage the project of standard automation

-Generate layouts for the solutions proposed to the customer, as needed.

-A layout is a dimensional drawing that represents the machine proposed for the solution.

-Must be able to manage special projects and follow-up with procedures and proper documentation.

-Must be able to maintain good customer relations and communications.

-Work closely with sales representatives as interface between the customer and the designers.



Qualifications:

-Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Microsoft project.

-Creative problem solving skills

-Customer exposure includes making presentations

-Sensitivity to sales strategies and requirements

-Flexible for an environment of multiple and changing priorities with a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

-Bachelor's Degree in electrical, mechanical, computer and/or automation engineering or equivalent experience

-Project experience in automatic assembly, or related factory automation and mechanical/electrical systems design, applications engineering

-Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes

-Experience in building customer relationships

-Fluent in speaking and writing English

-Preferably fluent in speaking and writing German
