Reporting to the Head of Studio and with responsibility for a Junior Graphic Designer, you will develop creative concepts and designs that present B2B marketing and internal communications messages with high visual impact aligned to brand guidelines.

You will work closely with the marketing teams to get under the skin of their briefs and creative requirements, leverage your creative thinking expertise to translate ideas into compelling, engaging practical designs that are considered and meet objectives, and can be executed across digital and offline channels on time.

You will work on a large variety of assets and materials to support corporate marketing, product, sales and internal communication objectives and plans including email campaigns, animation, video, website and landing pages, conferences and exhibition stands, reports and ebooks, pitches and proposals, newsletters, office signage, brochures and product collateral.

Our in-house design studio consists of a total team 9 including B2C creative and designers, digital designers, an artworker, copywriter and UX and UX architects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand and challenge the creative briefs in order to deliver designs and assets that meet objectives, expectations and quality standards

  • Develop and present different ideas, concepts and designs that demonstrate your artistic and creative flair and address the brief

  • Articulate your considerations and present your thinking aligned to concepts and designs

  • Listen to feedback, amend designs, propose and share ideas, working in close collaboration with peers and marketing teams

  • Oversee quality control and assessment of deliverables aligned to the brief and brand guidelines

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope working in conjunction with the Head of Studio to manage against requirements and timelines.

  • Contribute to post-project analysis to ensure continuous improvement

  • Leverage and continue to build a library of brand imagery, photographs and designed templates that can be leveraged across all materials and assets

  • Be a guardian of the brand and ensure brand guidelines are up to date and evolved accordingly

  • Monitor and stay informed of current trends, translating them into ideas and proposals for campaigns, RFPs and other initiatives of interest to the marketing teams

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Knowledge

  • Degree-level qualification ideally in design related subjects or equivalent by experience

  • In-depth understanding of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator Creative Cloud, and other media and graphic design software

  • Knowledge of Powerpoint and able to create highly finished presentations desirable

  • Appreciation of design and messaging hierarchy

  • Website design, especially new techniques and trends

Skills

  • Creative flair and thinking, and ability to create new design concepts, layouts and graphics

  • Brilliant visual skills to bring to life B2B content in a creative, contemporary and human way

  • Excellent skills in interpreting and challenging briefs and working within existing brand guidelines

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey ideas, concepts and design

  • Analytical skills to examine work produced from the perspective of the target audience perspective to review how it will be perceived and that the desired messages are conveyed effectively

Experience

  • Preferable experience within Financial Services/Travel/Telecommunications

  • Extensive design experience with proven creative skills in a strong portfolio of first class marketing visuals and assets demonstrable across channels – Video, Animations

  • Strong experience of working in an agency environment and/or in-house design studio

  • Experience in working within a cross disciplined creative team
