As a Sales Manager you’re a vital part of Knowland, responsible for generating revenue through selling our hospitality software. You’ll be responsible for strategically managing your assigned territory to maximize revenue, managing the sales cycle from start to finish. More specifically, you’ll drive new business by responding to incoming leads, outbound calling, conducting online product demos, and closing contracts. Ideally you’ll have at least one year of inside sales experience and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, motivating sales environment. You’ll also have proven success building relationships with customers. Here are the main features of the role:

Key Responsibilities and Job Activities
  • Strategically manage an assigned geographic territory to exceed goals and quotas, building a key, sustainable pipeline to help drive new business
  • Manage the full sales cycle
  • Showcase company software using online demos to present Knowland products as an optimal solution to increase hotel group bookings
  • Work closely with Knowland’s Client Service team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follow up with potential customers after demos to close contracts
  • Update all sales prospecting notes and client outreach activities into company CRM system
Minimum Qualifications
  • Prior experience with outbound calling, prospecting, business development and/or direct sales preferred
  • Prior experience working in a SaaS company or within the tech industry preferred
  • Skilled at performing cold calls and establishing strong professional relationships with customers
  • Self-motivated to achieve goals and exceed quotas, with a strong desire to do telephone outreach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
  • Strong contract negotiation and closing skills
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
