Your Role will include
- My client is recruiting for a Graduate Electrical / Electronic or Control Engineer with proven experience in PLC Programming and SCADA programming with at least 3-years’ experience.
- The successful candidate will work predominately in coding and testing PLC/SCADA control systems for a variety of applications.
- The role involve the candidate to work on-site at customer’s premises in the UK and sometimes overseas.
About you
- You will come with a minimum qualification of HND in an Engineering discipline or above
- Extensive experience in PLC Programming and testing - Siemens Preferred
- Low volume electrical skills to aid test and commissioning
- Knowledge of Control Systems Engineering and Maintenance Control Engineering
- Previous experience working within a Maintenance or Control Systems Engineering department within a factory setting
- Extensive PLC Programming experience knowledge and understanding
- Continuous improvement and developing
- Control Systems Fault Finding (electronic) and electrical
- New Plant installation
- Ability to read engineering and machine drawings essential
- Previous experience working to Industry Quality standards, typically this could be Aerospace, Medical, Defence or Automotive (although not essential)
- You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to tackle challenging situations.
