The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabanci University invites applications for a full-time faculty position at all-ranks in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing. The candidates must have earned a doctorate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate an excellence in research, teaching and graduate/undergraduate student supervision. Candidates with interdisciplinary research interests in Advanced Manufacturing especially in Large-scale Design Optimization and Analysis, and Additive Manufacturing are particularly encouraged to apply.
The Sabanci University has been growing its research in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. A new Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research Center (SU-IMC), industrial-scale research and technology development facility, was established in Summer 2016. The SU-IMC provides fundamental and applied research and facilities for design and analysis, product development, process prototyping, manufacturing, incubation services and commercialization opportunities in integrated manufacturing technologies.
