We are looking for a senior software engineer with a passion for technical excellence and drive for best-in-class performance optimization and stability. This role will challenge you to quickly and comprehensively learn EA’s Frostbite game engine and core game systems, and then drive improvements and extensions to these technologies.

As a strong candidate, you are not afraid to challenge technical ideas. You are open-minded to change and work efficiently. DICE finds it vitally important that you actively find ways to improve our products and studio. You will collaborate with creative and passionate team members within DICE Los Angeles and have fun doing so!

Skills desired:

    • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
    • Extensive knowledge of C/C++
    • Shipped game titles, preferably with console experience
    • Expertise in concurrency, memory and performance optimization
    • Experience managing a large code base with multiple simultaneous development branches
    • Flexibility and desire to work on a variety of game systems, including physics, streaming, rendering, file systems and memory organization
    • Self-driven with a strong sense of quality
    • Great collaborative skills that support an open working environment
