The Mechanical Supervisor acts as the central point of contact for all equipment support services for construction projects. The successful candidate will manage all equipment and equipment support personnel within a project such that reliable equipment is provided to efficiently and safely perform the project construction work.
Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
•Confirm receipt of and provide completed new equipment specifications worksheet for all newly received equipment.
•Procure, monitor utilization, and manage short term rentals (
Qualifications:
•B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•8+years technical experience in management of heavy construction equipment.
•Prior experience in heavy equipment repairs and or management of heavy equipment repairs is highly desired.
•Flexibility with working hours, including a willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or nightshift as needed for extended periods of time.
•Capable of learning and utilizing GPS and other machine telematics systems.
•Computer skills and experience with Word and Excel.
•Drafting/CAD knowledge is desired.
•Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
•Performs a variety of tasks.
•A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. #LI-KK1
