Responsibilities of the Accounting Analyst:
- Prepare month-end reports with attention given to revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and accuracy
- Update/create supporting schedules for financial statements and forecasts
- Prepare audit documents for external auditors
- Prepare and maintain financial projections and other financial models
- Assist with monthly worldwide consolidation of company financial statements including elimination of inter-company transactions and currency conversion issues
- Reconcile payroll and 401k contributions on a semi-monthly basis
- Pull sales tax reports for timely filing
- Ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements of the Accounting Analyst:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ hands-on accounting experience
- Understanding of GAAP reporting requirements
- Experience interacting with outside CPA firms
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to improve accounting processes.
- Enjoy working in collaborative, team-based environments and can also perform at a high level independently
