Management Accountant - Salary up to £55,000, good benefits package

The Management Accountant’s main responsibilities are to ensuring accurate month end files and balance sheet reconciliations are produced for the UK and overseas entities, and to play a key role in the ongoing project to implement a new Finance System.

  • Overall responsibility for ensuring accurate month end management accounts and all balance sheet reconciliations are prepared for all overseas entities
  • Assist Financial Controller and Senior Financial controller with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for the UK entity
  • Ensure all Intercompany balances reconcile across the group on a monthly basis
  • Play a key role in assisting the Financial Controller and Senior Financial Controller with all aspects of project to implement a new Finance system
  • Assisting the Senior Financial Controller with budget/reforecast work
  • Review the month end process and implement improvements where appropriate
  • Preparation of annual overseas entity audit files and assistance with preparation of UK entity audit file
  • Assist the trainee accountants as required with their work and in dealing with queries
  • Assist with preparation of overseas VAT returns and EC sales lists

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Management Accountant who has a professional can-do attitude. You will be self motivated, flexible and be able to prioritise and multi-task. You will have excellent organisational abilities to be able to balance different tasks ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining highest levels of accuracy. It would be highly advantageous if you have experience of Microsoft Dynamics
