Global manufacturing company seeking a Design Engineer to develop product sketches, drafts and designs using various design tools, equipment, and computer applications. Responsible for finishing designs for Senior Engineers and providing engineering and technical support.
Key Responsibilities And Job Duties- Design and develop manufacturing drawings in accordance with customer specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
- Research and analyze customer design proposal, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate feasibility.
- Communicate product specifications and other pertinent information to production team and maintain a cooperative and credible working relationship with company employees to assure customer satisfaction.
- Support ISO total quality efforts by providing timely and accurate information, following ISO standards, assisting in improvement process, and elevating quality issues to attention of management.
- Assure timely completion and shipment of customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications- Internship, Co-op or less than 2 years experience as a Junior Designer or Process Engineer
- Experience with Solidworks software is a MUST
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Ability to take products from concept through product launch
- Familiar with ISO quality standards
