JOB PURPOSEThe job include teaching under- and post-graduate students, research and administrative activities , Candidates must have PhD or M.D/PhD or equivalent degree and they should qualify for academic appointment.
The successful candidate will be engaged in interdisciplinary teaching activities and must apply cutting edge technologies and approaches in Pathology teaching. Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential as well as teamwork skills.
Candidates with an interest in the systemic pathology are encouraged to apply.
Moreover, the pathologist will also be responsible for conducting research in the area of molecular pathology.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
-Teach medical Pathology to undergraduate students of medicine and dentistry-Develop pathology curriculum
-Facilitate problem based learning
-Coordinate units in problem based curriculum
-Develop problems and mini-problems in problem based learning curriculum
-Prepare assessments for student evaluation
-Supervise undergraduate research projects
-Write grants, plan, participate and contribute in research
-Serve various committees in the college and university
-Contribute to the clinical services of the university affiliated hospitals
-Fulfill institutional expectations of teaching, service, advising, and research
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
PhD ( or equivalent ) in Pathology .
